The simulator package can include a series of task trainers such as a suturing pad, pegboard with triangles, and a ring transfer module. Built in stands, adjustable LED lighting, and HD USB camera allows for optimal viewing and connection to any USB capable Laptop or using a tablet. Synthetic and Ex- vivo gastrointestinal organ packages can be purchased by Endosim and can be used for the realistic simulation of surgical procedures. Ex-vivo specimens are obtained from the meat production industry and provide a realistic tactile feedback with the possibility to use commercially available laparoscopic equipment.
