Interventional Radiology Specimens

EndoSim has developed a novel model to simulate access to the femoral artery and femoral vein. This ex-vivo model contains a porcine femoral artery and femoral vein embedded in a silicone mold with silicone skin. Blood flow is simulated with a special roller pump system. This models allows novices to perform arterial and venous puncture with this realistic model in a hazard-free environment without patient harm.
